The Duck Creek Fireworks is the longest running tradition on Grand Lake and it’s the single largest spectator event. The tradition of shooting off fireworks on the fourth of July in Duck Creek is somewhere in the range of a 71 year tradition. Initiated sometime after the end of the Second World War it has grown to what it is today, the largest fireworks show in the state of Oklahoma. Attracting tens of thousands of visitors each year, the Duck Creek Fireworks and Air Show celebration is spectacular.
And the time-honored tradition of
boats parading up and down the creek.
Keep an eye out for the highly anticipated War Bird F-16 flyover, a loving tribute to the men and women serving overseas and an event that grows each year in the number of vintage aircraft deployed.

This annual Fourth of July Celebration is billed as Grand Lake’s most accessible fireworks show, both by land and by Grand, with fireworks being shot from barges positioned just in front of the east spillways near Disney.
