The Rolling Hills Fire Protection District No. 1 was established in 1959 and celebrated our 50th Anniversary in October 2009. We provide fire prevention and suppression as well as emergency medical service response for the northwest corner of Wagoner County. We also provide mutual-aid response to area departments such as Catoosa and Oak Grove Fire. The Rolling Hills Fire Protection District No. 1 operates two stations within the district. In addition to our revenue from the county, we rely on fundraising programs throughout the year. In the News:
The Blue Whale has become one of the most recognizable attractions on old Route 66 in Oklahoma. Hugh Davis built it in the early 1970s as an anniversary gift to his wife Zelta. The Blue Whale and its pond became a favorite stop and swimming hole for both locals and travelers alike.
