About Big Blast
Big Blast offers seasonal retail fireworks sales with your choice of 18 locations. Our home base is Bixby but we serve all communities surrounding Tulsa Oklahoma.
Established in 1986, Big Blast is a member in good standing with Bixby Chamber of Commerce, Tulsa Metro Chamber and the Tulsa Better Business Bureau. We believe in civic responsibility and support many community outreaches and endeavors. Our company and founding members are established in Christian heritage. Big Blast is a family business with purpose. Our mission is to offer retail fireworks sales as a fundraising tool for nonprofit organizations. While being committed to a low price guarantee to the buying customer.
The Big Blast Story
In 1986, the Barbour family began Big Blast Fireworks as a way to provide funds for the education of their children. Fireworks sales provided financial benefits as well as the flexibility their family required to raise three children. During the first four years of operation, Big Blast was a family venture only.
The Barbour family has always had a heart for missions and outreach programs. As fireworks sales became more successful, they desired to expand their business in order to assist community outreach programs. In 1991, the Barbours entered their first cooperative fundraising project and Big Blast Inc. was born.
